Open Freestyle [All Ages & Levels]
Open Freestyle Information:
Open Freestyle ice is for competitive skaters (adult and youth) to use for practice time throughout the day and for private lessons. Beginner skaters and Academy skaters may also use Freestyle Ice for private lessons and extra practice, depending on their age and skating level. Beginner skaters must be accompanied by a coach unless previously approved by skating directors.
Chicago Edge offers pre-purchased ice time packages and walk-on rates for participants wishing to attend Open Freestyle sessions. Punch cards will be available for purchase on Monday, September 25th.

Please carefully read the “Freestyle Information” information below before completing your freestyle ice registration.
Skaters are encouraged to pre-register for ice time and purchase a yearly-unlimited or monthly-unlimited Freestyle package. After purchasing, skaters have to check in with ice monitor and sign in prior to stepping on the ice. Freestyle packages cannot be shared between skaters. All skaters must have their own package.

Skaters that regularly step on our Freestyle Ice will be required to purchcase a punch card unless they are registered for an unlimited package. 11-Hour and 11-Half Hour Punch Cards will be available for purchase and include a discount on their 11th punch. Punch cards are to be held with the Ice Monitors and are not permitted to leave the rink with skaters. Skaters using a punch card will need to sign in prior to stepping on the ice. Siblings may share a freestyle punch card.
Walk-ons are permitted until a freestyle session is full. Walk-on Open Freestyle is available at $14 per 30-minute session and $25 per 60-minute session. Payment must be made in advance and is accepted via electronic payment or cash only. Freestyle ice is sold on a monthly basis and monthly ice time schedules will be posted below two to three weeks in advance. All ice time is final sale and no refunds will be available.

Pre-purchased ice time does not need to be scheduled to exact sessions. Skaters' names and the number of sessions purchased will be tracked in a binder at the check-in table.
